March Mosaic

Here's a snapshot of all the pictures I've taken for my 356 project in March.

Seeing all of the month's pictures together is always gratifying.  I think I did pretty well this month, despite there being rather a lot of pictures shot on my chopping board at supper time!  Next month I am rather unwillingly going to tackle pink!

This is one of my favourite pieces of jewellery which I bought after protracted haggling in Morocco a few years ago.   It's also the last day of March, so bye bye to Green!

I couldn't resist these giant green rollers at the Asda car-wash - I got some odd looks though!

It's very hard to resist our shelfful of the complete set of Windsor and Newton inks.  Very handy for those days when I fail to take a 'proper' photo outside.

I had to rush out with about ten minutes notice to do a shoot in Manchester (buildings and students) this afternoon.  It was all a bit mad really but I managed to find my green picture for the day!

A rather awful photo of some green pickles at the excellent Aladdin Restaurant where we had supper with friends last night.  Why do restaurants have to have such appalling lighting?  It plays havoc with photographic opportunities.

The frame of my Dursley Pederson bike (you can just see the wooden wheel rims and mud flaps in the bottom corner.  Yes, I know it's filthy and needs a clean!  I am most definitely a fair weather cyclist and hopefully it will be out for the first time this year soon.

I've used this same set of Penguin books in January and February, so I thought I may as well use them in March as well.  There are no more colours so this is the last you'll see of them!

I spent the afternoon in a foundry taking photographs for a property report, not pretty artsy photos as that's not what's needed, but I managed to sneak a couple in towards the end.  Most surfaces were covered with black soot and there wasn't a single bright colour there apart from the many fire extinguishers, but I did find this nice green skip/trailer.

A new month and a new colour - and it's green.  With all of the bright, shiny new buds popping out for the next few weeks there should be plenty of material for me outside and inside I can always resort to the vegetable drawer!
