The last of my yellow February photos is a little snapshot of the scene to my left side on my desk, the remains of my 'pre yoga' snack, my iPhone, Kindle and some shopping lists in the background, all sitting on top of the Epson scanner.

Fabulously yellow crocus in the cemetery. Today was the first sunny day for what seems like weeks and this flower seemed very appropriate.

Egg yolks set aside as I made meringue for my chocolate mousse for tonight's supper. They can go into some scrambled eggs tomorrow breakfast to make them extra unhealthy!

A row of fabulously yellow JCB machines. I'd just measured the huge site with mum on a freezing day and couldn't possibly allow myself to leave without a yellow picture!

This building was painted bright yellow for the Manchester Commonwealth Games from a few years ago and there was a countdown clock up there for years and a massive poster advertising the games. It's now gone and the somewhat faded yellow remains.

A new month and a new colour.
So it's February and still as gloomy in the weather department as January, but it can only get better with the arrival of some greenery and golden daffodils. In honour of the daffodils I am declaring February to be a month of Yellow photographs.

A set of three massive and very yellow design books on the shelf at home.
January. Done!
The first month of my photo a day project is over and it wasn't so bad. Mind you, I did find out that dark blue is quite an elusive colour, no food, no flowers and not a huge amount that isn't road signs, hoardings or containers at building sites. There are a few pictures I really like and a couple at which I should hang my head with embarrassment, but at least I did it!
Here's the whole lot in glorious dark(ish) blue from the most recent to the earliest.
