Peter's painting one of the walls in our upstairs living room black. The wall was previously covered by a floor to ceiling book shelf, so was looking a bit sad when the books were removed. Tomorrow new pictures will cover the wall and make it look totally different again.

October Mosaic
Here are all of the photos I took in October. It was a mixed month as usual with some pictures I really like (Miso the new kitten in our lives is one of these! as well as some from the Isle of Wight) as well as some pretty lame ones - my blurry horrible Timberland shoe detail wins the prize for the worst of the month without a doubt!
Onwards and upwards to a black November - I can't decide yet whether to make it a black and white (ie monochrome) month rather than simply photographing things which are black, it might make it more interesting.
